Editing your photos

Editing your photos in the Gallery

The Gallery program allows you to resize your photos and to rotate them by 90 degrees in either direction.

To edit a photo, click on that particular photo so that you get the large view and then look at the options on the left for the ‘Edit Photo’ link. A page with tabs at the top will appear. Tick the box at the bottom that says ‘Preserve Original Photo’, just to be on the safe side.

To rotate the photo, choose the ‘Modify Photo’ tab, and then under ‘Rotate’ choose either C90 (clockwise), CC 90 (anticlockwise) or 180 (rotate to the other way up).

Choosing and downloading pictures

How to choose and download pictures:

We are using a shopping cart system to collect pictures for downloading, but don’t worry, there isn’t a charge for it!

To add a picture to the cart, click the link under the thumbnail of the picture that says ‘Add Photo to Cart’. These links appear when you are viewing the collection of small images of all the pictures in an album.

To download the pictures in a zip file, view the cart, and look for the ‘Cart Actions’ button in the top right. One of the actions available will be ‘Download as a zip file’, so select this and click on ‘Go’. This will download the photos you’ve chosen to your computer.

Viewing the pictures

How to view the pictures:

Registration or logging in is required to keep the pictures and comments private from robots and spammers. If you are only visiting to look at the photos, please log in using the name baronials and the pass word is the first word of the name of the building where the wedding was (no capital letters).

If you will have your own photos to upload, please register at the gallery (look for the ‘Register’ link in the top left), and then check your email for a link to click to prove you are a real person. This will ensure that other people can’t delete your photos by accident. If the email doesn’t arrive, please try checking your junk mail or spam folders.

Welcome

Welcome to Chris and Penny’s Baronial Wedding Album!

Hello, and welcome to the Baronial Wedding album, in which we hope to collect the photos of Chris and Penny’s wedding all together in one place.

It was a lovely day, and hopefully between us all we’ve got the photos to prove it!

Chris and Penny would love to see everybody’s pictures here, so please have a go. Various help pages are listed at the side, and links to the gallery from here will open in a new tab or window, so that visitors can still refer to the help pages without interrupting what they’re doing.

The gallery is at http://www.baronialwedding.co.uk/gallery (Please note, to protect everybody’s privacy, registration and/or login are required - please seeViewing the photos for details).
